BRT
Is Available
BRT stands for Backup Ring with PTFE and it is a type of hydraulic seal designed for reliable performance in harsh operating environments.
A BRT seal is made from a combination of Nitrile Rubber (NBR) and PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene).
PTFE offers a durable, low-friction surface with excellent wear resistance.
NBR, on the other hand, provides flexibility and resistance against oil, grease, and hydraulic fluids.
Material: Nitrile Rubber (NBR) + PTFE
Temperature Range: -40°C to +100°C (-40°F to +212°F)
Pressure Range: 0 – 50 MPa (up to 7,250 psi)
Operating Speed: up to 20 m/s (66 ft/s)
BRT hydraulic seals are widely used in construction machinery and heavy-duty equipment that operate under high pressure and exposure to contaminants.
For example, you can find them in excavators, bulldozers, and backhoes.
In addition, they are also used in wheel loaders, skid steer loaders, and cranes.
Moreover, they play an essential role in concrete mixers and asphalt pavers, ensuring smooth and safe operation.
Superior sealing performance even in extreme conditions
High wear and tear resistance leading to longer service life
Versatility for a wide range of hydraulic applications
Durability against high pressures, speeds, and temperatures
As a result, they help reduce downtime and lower maintenance costs
